I bought this router a few months ago but and it has been stable enough with the merlin fw. But I'm maxing out the cpu a lot on my network. I have around 8 users connecting with several devices at any time. And at times the network becomes very unresponsive. Plus I would like to do some sort of traffic shaping (QOS). QOS just isn't possible with the weak cpu inside.
I'm currently on 100Mb from Virgin.
What would be a suitable replacement? I have used DD-WRT and Open-WRT in the past.
So I need something with a much better cpu.
