To cut a long story short, I have had ongoing issues with this bit of kit. The PSU failed and I managed to find a replacement, then the unit was dropped and it has never been the same since.
I am with NTL cable - although it is called Virgin media this week! 2 PCs are connected by Cat5e and 2 more via the wireless part. The wired part of the network runs perfectly, but the wireless element frequently fasls to connect and every couple of weeks for no apparent reason falls back to the default unsecured settings.
As I see no reason to pay any more than I have to for a new one my eye was drawn to the Linksys WRT54GL Wireless-G Broadband Router/4-Port Switch (clicky).
It seems unbelievably inexpensive, will it fit the bill?
