replacement graphics card

Looking to replace my tri crossfire amd 6970 and 6990. Haven't kept up with the new stuff for a few years now . What would you recommend to an up grade that would out perform my current set up.

A 660 Ti is a good chunk faster than a single 6970, my 980 Ti is roughly 4 times faster at its overclocked state. Personally a 1060 Will offer better performance not by a lot like a 1070 would be a cracking upgrade a whole lot less power usage 8gb vram and cooler running (y)

Budget is about £500 and I would like to go to a single 4k screen I run 3 1920x 1200 screens at the moment

The 1080Ti info is to be released in the next 24 hours. Wait and see what that does to pricing. You're looking at 1080 base card as a minimum for 4K

might be worth waiting for vega 1080ti, even if you are going for the 1080, it will cause price drops!!
