Replacement GTX 470 Twin Frozr II Fan?

I wrote 2 webnotes on the 30th March, and another 2 on the 4th April. The only emails had from OCUK during that time were messages about the "Outstanding Testing Charge", and the confirmation of my webnotes.

Yes it's RMA217557

All 3 webnotes sent in have had a reply. - Not sure if there is a problem with your mail as regards to the replies being sent in your junk folder?

Mechanicus, what I can do is this.

Refund your testing charge if this has been processed already, so you do not pay a testing charge.
If the graphics card is still with us we can sort this out with MSI to get the fan sorted and it will not be a lower spec product and then send it back to you as soon as it is done. I am unsure of the turn around, could take a week or so.

Are you happy for me to do this? :)
 
Myth

Does that ever actually happen or is it like an urban myth?

Having just gone through this, I can say it is a myth. MSI will not do anything without having the card in their hands.

I had to return my GTX580. I did it through my e-tailer, took about 3 weeks in total and I received a brand new card (mine was still in warranty). I sent only the card, got the whole shebang back, cables CD manuals etc, new pack.
