Replacement HDD

Looking to get a new Hard disk for my laptop. Guessing it's a 2.5" but come across some strange terms I'm hoping you guys can help with.

What is 2.5"X1/8H? Also the 1/6H and 1/4H?

I worked out the 2.5 bit by the way

Also, someone suggested the current drive may be a 4200rpm model. Is there any way I can find out easily?

The easiest way of determining the disk speed is going to be by googling the model number, you'll get that either from the label on the top of the drive or probably from Device Manager. Once you've got that you'll also be able to determine the physical height of the drive which is the bit of the description you were wondering about.
