Hello
I bought a QPAD MK-50 with Reds about 6 months back primarily for gaming. As it was my first mechanical I was shocked at how much I liked it over my old razer lycosa with rubber domes. Now though I am looking for a replacement. These days I spend a lot more time typing and I just cant get used to the reds. I am a sloppy typist anyway and the lightness and the lack of feedback, noise or tactile, makes it a real pain to type (I have probably typed this paragraph twice now after correcting the mistakes). I have been looking at a brown switch keyboard as I think it is probably a good balance. I like the lightness of the reds but blues are too noisy. After looking at guides and reading many, many reviews I still cant decide that to get and would like some assistance / thoughts on that would be a good replacement. The boards I have shortlisted are:
Logitech G710+
QPAD MK-xx (browns this time, on sale ATM as well)
Filco Majestouch 2
Zowie Celeritas
I couldn't care either way about backlighting, macros, bells, fluffy dice etc however as someone that often uses it for many hours a day comfort is my main concern. I get fatigued easily using the current keyboard (unsure if because of switches or ergonomics) so I am looking for the most comfortable one I can get. I understand that ergonomics are often down to preference but I am guessing some are known to be better than others. Price range wise I really dont have one. Again this is something I use every day so I am not going to skimp on it. You get what you pay for after all.
Sorry for the wall of text but I like to be clear as possible. I hope you can lend some assistance.
Regards,
Andy
P.S. Has anyone tried the G600 mouse from Logitech? My naga is on its way out and has been for a while, was thinking of partaking
