I've seen this mentioned a few times on ths forum, but have never really taken notice of what it actually is.

I have an iPhone 4 which I dropped. The back has a small crack to the glass in the bottom right hand corner and the on/off button now sits flush with the top.

What is the criteria for the replacement service, eg: warranty, place of purchase, amount of damage.

And how would I go about getting it replaced, I don't mind paying the money as it will still be cheaper than a new iPhone

My phone was bought from O2 and is about 2 years old.

Thanks

As you'll be paying, there won't be any requirements for warranty or anything. You'd simply book a Genius bar appointment, and that's it really.

In terms of how much you'd pay:

New iPad Wi-Fi, New iPad Wi-Fi + Cellular, all models: £256.44
iPad 2 Wi-Fi, iPad 2 Wi-Fi + 3G, all models: £206.44
iPad Wi-Fi, iPad Wi-Fi + 3G, all models: £206.44
iPhone 5, all models: £186.44
iPhone 4S, all models: £146.44
iPhone 4, 3GS, 3G, and original, all models: £126.44

However, it will be cheaper to get a replacement back (even directly from Apple, they'd order it for you) as well as a new power button.
