Hi All,

After a year of living with Tado (renting) I've decided to buy something to install as a replacement. I've had some ongoing issues with Tado, and whilst the customer service have tried, they've ultimately accepted that there is some hardware problems with my kit.

I am torn between doing a self-install on the Home Hive 2 or the new V3 Nest. Any opinions on what is better? I'm leaning towards the Home Hive 2, but I'm not sure why, I think it's probably because I'd made the decision and then the new Nest came out!

Cheers!

Going to be Hive for me as it can do the hot water as well as the heating. Probably go for an installation though i would only bugger it up. Were in need as well ours is broken at the minute, only way to get hot water is to go to the garage and turn the frost stat up.
