Hi guys,

Trying to source a replacement drivers side front window for a Nissan Sunny N13 ('89) 3dr.

Really struggling to find one anywhere! Been to a few local breakers and scoured ebay.

Any ideas of where to look next? Is there a company that make to order, if so what sort of cost am I looking at?

EDIT- Does anybody know if any other cars shared the same window as the Sunny?

Dam thats an old car now, not sure how many there are going to be in scrap.

You can do online national searchs of breakers yards, specify the part needed and they will contact you

Obviously you want to buy local but apart from getting it new it sounds like you may not have that choice

Managed to source a window and fitted it earlier on but there is an issue and that is the window is not going up properly.

The windows are electric and very primitive.

The glass sits in two runners, one at each end. The single cable attaches to a bracket in the middle of the glass.

I fail to see how it cannot close squarely but for some reason it is not. If I give the side that is dropping a little help when closing it closes fine.

Any ideas?

Any ideas on things to try or reasons why the window is not going up square? I have been pondering over it and I think the only thing it can get stuck on is in the rubber runners at each end. Perhaps because they are old and a bit weather the rubber isn't smooth enough?

Help appreciated as the gf is away on holiday and I would like to sort this before she gets back.

;)

Basically that's what I was thinking. What is the best lube for this particular task though?

It was the oly thing i had to hand and worked a treat :D - well long enough for me to sell the car :D

im sure there are better things to use.....
