replacing a duff fan on a 6600?

That's not the standard reference fan that nVidia designed for the card, but one BFG decided to stick on instead, LeadTek has a very very similar one for their cards.
I tried having a look round since I wanted to replace one on one of mine, but I doubt you'll be able to find a non-aftermarket replacement fan. The best bet would be to look on that auction site for a sure-dead 6600GT someone is flogging, maybe even ask them just to send the fan, shouldn't cost too much.
Also, what's happened to the AGP bridge chipset heatsink?

The fan used on that does look like a non-standard one, unfortunately replacing fans on AGP cards like the 6600 is probably not worth it, because it's really not worth very much and the fan fitting is so far from standard that most heatsinks you can get either wont fit due to the angle or won't fit because of the AGP bridge chip just beneath it, which should have a heatsink on it. The card will die without the heatsink on the bridge chip.
It would be more cost effective for you to stick that up on the popular auction site stating clearly that it has a duff fan, and try to find a 6800GT/7600GT AGP or whichever AGP card fits your budget from a similar place

cheers guys, i still have the bridge chipset heatsink, i'm in need of a 'push pin' to clamp it down as you can see i ringed it on the main heat sink. The fan still works just loud. I will try and clean it up if it's not standard. I have just brought a new 9600, but this is for the 2nd rig so just trying to get it going.
