Did you get this working ? Am switching to Now TV Broadband because its cheap but I like to use my D7000v2 ? Do I need wireshark still for sky hubs?
I believe it depends on whether you're talking about ADSL or VDSL (fibre).

NOW TV doesn't appear to be any cheaper than Plusnet who don't cause issues with using your own equipment.

I’ve set up my D7000v2 as the modem for my new NowTV Fibre (VDSL) Broadband. First I entered the MAC address of the NowTV Sky Q modem - provided on the Card with the admin username/password stuff, under the ‘Advanced’ tab, ‘Router MAC Address section’ as the MAC address and selected ‘Use this MAC Address’ tick box. Then used the setup wizard selecting Sky as the provider and when asked for the DHCP Option 21 info I entered abcd@skydsl|abc123. The Modem then proceeded to connect (after about 2 minutes) and I got 38 MBits at the master socket when they said I’d get 36MBits.
Good luck.
