Replacing an iphone 5

Well the last time apple upped the screen size it was just about enough to add an extra row of icons :p They have lost sight of what people use modern smart phones for. And even if the new one does up the screen size to a usable level it will still be stuck with the dinosaur that is iOS and the joke that is iTunes.

It would take a complete rethink from apple to even tempt me back to an iPhone.

Sounds like you're referring to Android there TBH...

Whilst people have been asking for a bigger iPhone it seems Apple have only considered increasing the height? Still, I will believe it when I see it. People always love to speculate the next iPhone.

screen is a larger 16:9 - so it's increased in both directions.

There are a lot of glaring issues with iOS, one huge one for me is it having no file system, and I don't mean it in a way that I want to navigate through folders and such but Apps using your documents for example. If you write a text file using App A, then new hot App B comes out your file at still tided to app A. This just needs to be fixed and fast, more over on the iPad.

Then there is the typical sharing, bette background tasks (current way in iOS7 needs developers to update their app, there was no mention of this last year at the keynote, it was meant to magically learn what I use and update in the background).

I could really go on all day, and this is not to say Android is perfect a have a similar list of things I hate about it. But to think either platform is amazing and perfect is short sighted.

Too OP if your bored of iOS and want to test the waters in Android I would recommend the Nexus 5 or Moto X.
