Hi

I have a Gelid Tranquillo cpu cooler. Have had it for about 2 years and the fan has become increasingly loud. Can you buy just a replacement fan? Or does anyone know anything I can do to decrease the whirring sound?

Thanks

Seems the Gelid Tranquillo cpu cooler has a 5 year warranty.

Try emailing Gelid first if you could get a replacement fan.

Gelid is based in Hong Kong though, so no idea of there CS.

If you just want to buy a replacement, there are lots of fans in the £5-10.00 range.

But Gelid may do as some other companies with good customer support do. Send you a replacement fan.

Here's link to their customer support.

Thanks. I'm going to email them first to see what they come back with.

Thanks all for the help

clean the blades, the heatsink, anything and everything you can get to,there can be huge amounts of dust build up in the heatsink itself, maybe a quick blast with some compressed air through there or a vacuum if you don't mind taking it and re-fitting
