I have a couple of Windowed small office type rooms - maybe 10 ft x 12ft for the biggest one, lit with 2 double 6ft fluorescent battens. The smaller room has a single 6ft batten fitting. Price, looks, utility and effort are the main factors here.

Options:

I have single sided led tubes I could use, although this will mean rewiring the old, somewhat ugly fittings.

I could fit pendants in situ with led bulbs which would be the cheapest option, although I’d need light shades.

toolstation has cheap led battens at around £12 each.

screwfix has led bulkheads at around £6 each.

Which of these would make most sense?

Might be best if you post some photos of the rooms, see what fits and exactly where is there right already.
