replacing HDD with this

Just thinking of when i upgrade the mobo. i can take this along with the upgrade..

Make sure the mobo can boot from PCIe, not all of them can.

if your changing your mobo why don't you get one with a M.2 slot on instead and save the money for the card or put it towards the mobo

Are you thinking of upgrading the mb now?

Reason I ask is for the price of the M.2 and the adapter you could get a 500Gb SSD and when you do plump for the motherboard the M.2 drive may have come down in price and you could use the SSD as a games drive for the speed.
