HI ALL

right i have a gigabyte nf4 matx mobo with 6100 onboard gfx and am using the nvidea 410/430 chipset drivers 8.26

my question is i am replacing this mobo with a msi with the 6150 chipset which also uses the nvidea 8.26 chipset drivers

my question is

will it be ok just to swap out the mobo and leave my h/d as it is without reformatting as basically i will be using the same drivers and stuff

In that case Windows should detect the new hardware and automatically reinstall the drivers on first boot.

Ive got away with it before changing mobo for complete different one, just removed all drivers for current mobo then swithc off change mobo and booted ok then install drivers for new mobo. So sure youll be fine.
