Hi
I need to replace the Northbridge fan on my Socket 939 Abit KN8 as it is almost dead. Now, the only replacement coolers (Zalman etc) I can find are passively cooled and therefore quite big compared to the stock cooler. This might create problems as I also want to upgrade my cpu cooler to something decent (Tuniq Tower) so am worried that the two will not fit together (See below for a picture of my motherboard)

So. What are my options? I can't just buy a replacement cooler as the way it clips to the motherbaord is quite unique. Could I just buy a small heat sink with a fan on it and use some artic epoxy to glue it to the northbridge? I don't think the northbridge runs particularly hot so it doesn't have to be great cooling solution. Below is a picture of the northbridge showing the way a HS/Fan clips to it.
