Replacing Sky Phone Socket

I took a look inside the junction box:

Not what I was expecting, seems to have jelly crimps.

Can these be removed and re-used, or do I need to fit brand new ones when swapping the old cable for new?

Yeah I noticed, was more just because I don't have a store near me, will need to order online..

From what I can see I basically just pull/cut the cables out of the old ones.. Then how does it work:

1) two slots, one for the blue (a) coming from master socket and other for blue cable leading outside
2) two slots, one for orange (b) coming from master socket and other for orange cable leading outside

?

Would these work:

Yeah I bought the cable I posted from toolstation. It has blue, orange, blue/white stripe and orange/white stripe.

Ill get some better pics later (battens are knackering me out). From what I could tell was a cable came from outside to the junction.. then junction to socket.

Ok.. good and bad lol..

Good news is I have the new wiring nice and neat inside the wall and running along celing of kitchen, and internet seems to be working fine :)

Bad news.. the crimps were too large for the telephone wire lol... :(

I only got these ones as I couldn't see local stores having jelly crimps, guess I will just order some online so they fit perfect.

Thanks ill pick one up today, jelly crimps are coming Sat or Mon anyway...

Had a scare last night, nothing would work and Sky checker said problem outside house so I assumed I had blown something :(

Turned out it was just cause the cables are too thin I wasn't getting a proper connection with the crimps I bought.

Sorry I never replied to this post..

I got the jelly crimps and used them, connection made perfectly.

Now the cable is submerged behind the plasterboard and running a lot neater to my kitchen (junction box).

Thanks for all the advise and help given in this topic... good stuff to know now :)
