Replacing standard PCI card antenna with another?

Morning all,

I have a Netgear WPN311 PCI wireless card with just the standard antenna on the back of it which works fine at the moment, however id like to move my PC to another position which would weaken the signal. Id like to buy another antenna which has a 2m wire which I could attach to my PCI card and run the cable with the antenna to its original position. What sort of antenna im looking at? All the db stregnths and that sort of thing confuses me. Female/male connector needed?

As always i try to check OCUK store first and post their links..however they don't stock either of these products.

u can just get it from fleebay..they are very cheap £4-8
