Hi, everybody!

If any of you have a few moments to spare (and a huge amount of hard drive space, coupled with a massive internet connection) could you please download and run the rolling X3 demo (link below - please remove if it's unauthorised).

The demo is a pretty brutal test of the CPU, memory and graphics sub-system of the computer so it's a good indicator of how well the game runs on all your butch systems.

If you do decide to run the demo, could you please post your results and your system specs? If you could run it in your monitor's standard res or as close to 1280x1024, that would be fabulous.

I think everyone should make 1024x768 as the chosen standard for this bench because some people can't display 1280x1024 (Max res for me is 1400 x 900)
 
Anyway...here are my results...and I ran this twice...one with my 3dcard at stock 580/790...and the second time at 651/852....overclocking my 7900GT gave me a 1.4fps gain..which is well in the margin of error. Shows you how CPU dependent this rendering is...conroes definitely shine on this one.

The minimum framerate on Scene 00 differs vastly between others with simialr average fps scores. Seems CPU speed in the key here though it doesnt help the overall score much.
