Res and pump layout

I am using a separate pump and res in my build ,normally I would use a pump/res combo.

I know pump is supposed to be lower then res,but would I get away with it set up the way I have it now ?

You should be fine as long as the water level in the res is above the pump.

Im not so sure,it looks like the pump is mounted with the inlet being vertical and the outlet horzontal,if you flip the pump onto its side it should be ok.

yeh that's how Its set up at the minute

mine is similar, but on the right you should be okay dude
