Res horizontally mounted

Hi All,

I’m using an EK-Quantum Kinetic TBE D5 Body D-RGB res horizontally mounted in the bottom of my case, I’m using the pump end for both in and out flow.

Should I use the small EK-HD tube instead of the installed flat EK anticyclone adapter.

My thinking behind this is to encourage the fluid to be drawn in from further inside the res.

Yeh tube sounds right to me mate as the water will act different from being on its side.

i did this without the tube thing, and never noticed anything bad. ran for over 2 years aswell.
