Res running low.

Judt opened my case to find that I my res level has gone down quite a bit. Now my question is should I just top up my res with new distilled water or should I empty and refill? Would just topping up my res be detramental to my loop?

topping it up will do just fine! may be an idea to check your loop to see if you have any leaks anywhere though

Just top it up with the same liquid as you are using.

I don't think/can't see any leaks as the system has been on 24/7 since I put the loop in about 6 months ago and hasn't gone boom yet. I think it is just down to my loop getting te last of the trapped air out. Though I will run another leak test tonight when I fill the res up.

I tend to find that barbs could become wet and not technically leak, so you wind up losing liquid through evaporation more than anything, since I switched to compression fittings, my res has only dropped less than a 1cm in just over 6-7 months. Just in case you are using barbs.

Thanks for the heads up but I'm also usingcompression fittings. I'll update once I get home and can take a close look atthe possible issue.

--UPDATE--

Filled res back up, though now the res is leaking from the bottom threads where the clear plastic meets the black plastic possibly over filled it. Opps
