Reset Settings after OC

afaik, its loading optimised defaults.
have you raised the vcore as well? if not, raise it a couple of levels. also unlink your ram, so it stays at stock speed

what is your cpu as there is no cpu called Q8600

regarding ram, what is the stock speed pc2-5600 (667mhz), pc2-6400 (800mhz) or pc2-8500 (1066mhz), assuming its ddr2 ram.

if its 800 or 1066 then you are fine, as the ram is the same as the fsb. (if its 1:1)
you have a fsb of 400 (400 x 7.5), if you have 800mhz ram then that is also 400mhz (as its ddr2, you do 400 x 2=800)

sometimes, if you dont have a 1:1 ratio, that is fsb:ram then you can have the ram too high and it stops the cpu overclock.
eg. your fsb may be 400, but the ram could be at 450, and its not able to run that speed.

have a look in cpu-z under the memory and spd tabs, and it will tell you the ratio eg. 1:1, 5:6 etc.... and on the other page it will tell you the ram speed
