I bought a Blackberry Q10 on ebay a few weeks ago, as my old one has broken sim card pins.
Anyway, it works and all that, however, it has the Blackberry ID locked.
I have the email address for the previous owner, but they have not replied to my emails, the seller said that they no longer use that email and so the chances of me getting the password are ZERO.
Now, everytime I look up a way to hard reset it, or clear the data or do anything like that, it wants me to log in to my blackberry account and, as I said, I do not have the password for this account and I cannot create a new one without removing this one first, and again... I need the password.
So, while I am able to use the thing for the basics, I cannot use it or clear it or do anything that rerquires me to update or upgrade or change it.
Does anyone else have any clues as to what I can do, to clear the phone and not have to use my Blackberry ID and password?
