I've four identical disks running under Windows 7. Three are running at UltraDMA Mode 6 according to the SATA Controller details in device management. One however is running at Mode 2.
I'm assuming that it might be a cabling problem, so I'm going to check the cabling, and probably buy a new (locking) SATA cable. However, how do I tell Windows 7 to try this at Mode 6 again, once I've fixed the cabling (or will it happen automagically)?
thanks,
Matthew
