When you watch the walkthroughs it is easy though. Games like RE of old have always been about dodging attacks. It is a far easier game to play if you are rushing about everywhere.
 
Hulks campaign is just about knowing where to take the hits and what to run past or kill, while hoping the rng is in your favour. Don't think I'll bother with Tofu.

There's new free dlc out Friday right? 3 survivors? I wonder if it has achievements.

I just need to read 3 documents for the 100% and I assume they'll be on Leon B campaign as I haven't touched that yet.

Yeah I get there's a perfect way to do it it you take each section as it's own choice of kill, avoid, take a hit, but that takes the 'gameplay' away from it in my opinion if you're just trying to rinse and repeat the 'right' way of completing Hunk that you watched someone else do.
Plus I was only doing Hunk for a bit of fun, and the heart palpitations and anger just didn't seem worth it in the end. :D
 
Picked this up eventually and have to say I am hooked!! I have just escaped the police station, and so far it has been immense, nice bit of puzzle solving, a good amount of spook and good graphics also! Top stuff! :D
 
Free dlc is out today and disappointed I thought they were 3 different chapters ie follow the story from a different person's perspective - just a short story, not a full 10 hour story, but no more tofu running.

You expected a full 10 hour story?? If they had something that long you can be sure they would charge you for it. Don't you remember how long Resident Evil 7’s free dlc was?

I am expected one hour each tops. Which is not bad for free dlc.
 
You misread my post I'm saying I did not expect a full 10 hour story, but hoped it was a chapter about each different survivor. What we got was more tofu running
 
Feels like this is more of the sort of DLC we got for free in 7 when you played as Chris Redfield as opposed to the paid for DLC with End of Zoe etc.

I think I'd have preferred something that cost money but was a bit beefier. Maybe that will come later.

Never purchased the paid DLC on RE7. The characters just never did anything for me.

Happy for some paid dlc in this game though, as long as it is good and as you say a bit more beefy. What I would love to see if either the old game as dlc, or for them to do a copy paste of the old game with the new graphics. Would pay good money for that.

Another piece of free dlc I would like to see is the ability to have randomised item placement. Would help keep things a bit more fresh.
 
Is there any more DLC planned? I had a google but couldn't find much. I managed to finish no way out today but think I'm pretty much done with the game now otherwise.

I did it in training mode and all the other three just to see what was what. They are ok, nothing special, but can’t complain for free I guess. Just uninstalled it myself as I don’t think any dlc will be coming out in the next month or two. The Resident Evil 7 dlc took ages to come as I recall, so if anything special comes out I will reinstall then.

Had a blast playing it overall. Even though it was not as good as I hoped, it was still very good.
 
So I am confused I have just started playing Claire A but so far I am just doing everything I have done with Leon? Is this right?

Should I be playing Claire B??

They are basically the same with different cutscenes. Ideally you should be doing a to b scenario. I think Clair A and Leon B is what is considered to be most accurate going from other games.
 
I completed my first play through on hardcore with Leon was good fun but a challenge! doing Claire on normal mode now its way easier does she get this many guns on hardcore setting? I have 5 different weapons not made it to the sewers yet.


Their is Paid DLC that unlocks all the rewards out now for £4.

Slightly confused started Claire campaign after finishing leon, however I seem to start right in police station, did they remove the gun shop bit? In the original that's were you ended up first am sure of it
