Resident Evil 4 - PC

The mouse aim program only works with the Taiwan version of the game, basically Biohazard 4. Some people have altered the version they have by replacing the original .exe with a cracked version, however this is illegal & not to be condoned.
I wouldn't bother though as even with the mouse it's still a rubbish game, I can't believe just how bad the graphics are even on a 8800gtx at 1680x1050 with full quality driver settings, there is no ingame video options or anything :(
 
Yeah its pretty shocking, I'm running it at 1920x1280 and its not good... but tbh it has one advantage over the GC one... I can actually see whats suppose to be there. On the GC it was pretty grainy, and hard to make somethings out.. don;t have that problem here. But the game is like its being played at day all the time... UBI just couldn't be bothered with it I suppose, to busy focusing on Assassins Creed (which I don;t blame them for :) )

They failed the SCDA port.
They Failed the Vegas port.
And now they failed the Resident Evil 4 port.

I also get a sort of fuzziness which the screenshots don't really show, probably a monitor thing but no other game does that. Gutted really as I was looking forward to this game, not sure I'll bother with it now:(

Yea not sure I can be arsed with it anymore tbh... I'm using a pad, but you can't even adjust the sensitivity of the sticks... and its quite sensitive and makes it hard to aim!

Have to be honest, I find this release a little outrageous. With the graphical power of current generation of PCs, the screenshots really do leave a lot to be desired...a lot. What the hell were the developers thinking?
 
The character models dont look that bad and the ps2 textures I would've put up with, but the lack of any sort of lighting effects is the real kick in the nuts.

Agree 100%... the resoultion is pretty good, just no lighting effects AT ALL! And the lighting makes the eerie atmosphere that you associate with the Resident Evil Series! Oh well I'm still playing it cos I love resi so much :)
 
Agree with the graphics, was kinda expecting it for some time to be pap on that front. However i wanted the gameplay. play with a pad and whilst most will argue its not as good as the gamecube for 15 bucks im having fun with it.

Its nice to get into RE game again last one i played was nemesis and loved that. like the changes to the gameplay too still feels like RE but all done for the better...excpet graphics lol
 
just an update minor graphical glitches likes arms missing and face missing lol kinda funny really reminds me of the invisible man.....or partially lol. However im really enjoying the game itself. Ive decided to get past the graphics and play it....and have to admit im liking it a lot..
