Resident Evil 5 - I can't even defeat the executioner at the beginning

Resident Evil 5, yeah what a hard game to get to grips with at first.. I played the move edition and couldn't understand why I couldn't aim, shoot and run at the same time..

You learn eventually how to get around this, and yes you do watch how trigger happy you get.

Rage quits in this game are high. I too couldn't get past the first level either until I realised that just running around and waiting for backup to arrive was the object.. Doh. I did feel a tad stupid afterwards.. lol

Complete the game on Veteran mode to unlock Professional mode. On this mode, you can pretty much die from one critical hit so it provides a very nice challenge to the game.

And you know that you can chosse the difficulty whenever you begin a campaign or stage.

completed resi5 with my housemate in co op.

some parts are pretty difficult and seemed to last forever of retrying...

i remember one gun on the back of a truck section boss...

and also a boss that was in a room, and u have to flame thrower it and then do damage to it. im sure i used 90% of my ammo on it maybe even all of it despite being religiously stingy with bullets headshotting ppl and knifing wherever possible...:/

fun game in co op though.

Dont you have to shoot down some electric thing from a lamp post to land on its head? Been a long time since i have played this game through though, and im also terrible at them :)

i hate the act2 boss as i only realised once i had almost ran out of ammo that you had to lock it in the furnace! doh.....
Hahaha, we worked that out before we even saw the boss.

Hmm a furnace and lever, there's going to be a use for this...

It was just a case of whats going in the furnace :D

Hated it when I played the demo but my mate picked it up with move controllers and think it's pretty good. Not quite as harsh as classic Res Evil but it's definitely not just an arcade shooter.

Just got up to chapter 5 where you meet one of the old foes (without trying to spoil it). Knew they were there but man are they annoying :p

I bought the Gold edition of this, but I'm disappointed with the way it activates the full --/1400G before even installing the DLC. I'm probably never going to complete it now due to Versus. Barely anyone plays it and Survivor/Team Survivor are a bit difficult to get into since you start on a pistol and have to find the better weapons.

Especially Solo.. the Sheva AI is pretty good overall, but a bit wanting for Pro.

Had to replay the last level on veteran difficulty as my co-op partner couldn't press X fast enough.

Oddly on normal mode we just changed host to change character, but that trick didn't work on veteran.

make sure you move the bookcases in front of the windows/doors - will give you a little more time before they start to move in on mass, one with the machete, one with a gun worked well for me on co-op.
