Resident Evil 7 Benchmarks

In all seriousness I think it's more likely the way they're testing must be flawed. It looks great for AMD cards but I find it hard to believe.

Having said that it's possible it's using something that Nvidia are missing. It's not DX12 though is it?
Apologies if this has been asked already but does the game support 21:9 ?
Cheers in advance.

People on reddit say it doesn't unfortunately.
That's disappointing. Plus there's no excuse in this day and age.

Furys ****** as games using more than 4GB at every res :D
470 beating the 1070!

That's another bit that makes the results odd, The 4gb 470 beats the Fiji cards in one result, At 1080p the Fiji chips under perform but not so much at 1440 and 4K. Having said that performance is decent for such a good looking title. But, that's to be expected in a game that does not have large open areas to create. It's a shame the lip syncing's so bad.

I can't believe the 390x smashes the 480 and the 1080 by those margins.

The game is obviously broken.

Not broken for me, I am playing it 4K max settings except for I am using SSAO instead of HBAO+, apart from that I turned off Depth of Field and Motion Blur which I always do anyway as I do not like them and on top they waste fps.

Been playing it around 7-8 hours no crash, buttery smooth with my 1070. I am getting average 60fps :D

+1

EVGA 1080 FTW and RE is playing great. Very smooth.

I could play this at 4k on my 65" OLED with HDR...

Instead I have opted to play the game in PSVR and it's already made me jump more than any other game I've played. It's funny because on PC I would care about getting 60fps/Ultra.

On PSVR (PS4 Pro) I couldn't even tell you the framerate, but everything is smooth.

That's all that matters bud. If it does what you need, happy days but I will add you are braver than me..... No way would I play this in VR
