i have recently started playing Resident evil 2, and i would like to know if it is possible to get to hear the voices when the characters are speaking, i have all the other sound on

They have voices in game and in cinematics. I don't recall there be a toggle setting, but best to check. A reinstall might be worth a shot and a redownload to be sure.

If it's installed via Steam, try verifying your files.

Check in game sound settings? Could be the game is outputting 5.1 audio with dialogue coming from centre channel. If you don't have 5.1 set up it could be possible that the dialogue would therefore not be audible.

Hi Mate, i uninstalled and downloaded the asus sound card drivers again, and everything now works fine, thanks

I've just started playing this, I must admit, it seems really difficult! Mainly aim perhaps, shooting them in the head is really hard to kill them, but it's also really hard to aim with a controller!
