I think We'll prilimarily set a time of 9.30pm tonight. Ps3ud0, ic1male, rp2000 and smallios74 are generally on most nights playing co-operative so hopefully we can all make it a RESISTANCE night tonight. This may be the first time, also, that everyone will have a headset on!

Well I'll probably go as soldier as he is on level 8.
Does anyone know exactly how the level 12 medic berserk works? Do you have to activate it as you're about to die, or can you activate it whenever you like and then when you die it'll kick in?
Still sticking with the healing circle thing tbh, it's perfect for those hairy moments as it fully heals you and constantly heals those around you, giving you a bit of extra time to soak up much needed energy for healing blasts.
Really enjoying the medic at present, especially now i've got a shotgun and two sets of grenades, means i can dish out some damage when i need to (large masses of grims etc).

When the Phoenix Ash berserk power is ready, you'll get your chime to tell you and then when you die, you have 30 seconds to activate it. If you activate it, you'll come alive and carry on as normal and have to build it up again. (Which incidentally you can do in very little time.)
If you wait and someone else heals you, then the PA is ready for you to use at any time again.
Even if the game ends and the "mission failed" screen comes up because all your team is dead, you can still hit the down button on the D-pad and you get revived and the game starts again!
EDIT: I find each of the medic's beserker powers too good! Ring of Life is a bonus in mad situations as you say, choloform can hold groups of enemies together so you can lob grenades and decimate them and phoenix ash is good for when you don't trust anybody on your team! LOL.

Ah wicked, cheers, didn't know you had to activate it when you were down. Still think the circle of healing is more effective tbh, keeping a whole team alive > coming back to life once. If you're in a situation where people can't revive you then what use is one medic going to be.
It depends where you are, if you're isolated and everyone in your team is down, you can revive and wait in safety until the rest of your squad resurrects. If you are surrounded by baddies then aye, it is a bit worthless.
Spec Ops. Although the weapons get more powerful as you level up and you get a secondary weapon which might be some sort of rifle for Spec Ops.

Whats so shocking about Kingston?!
On topic; currently on chapter 2 on insane difficulty. Once you get used to the new, more agressive AI it isn't actually that much harder than 'Hard' was. Although my skills improved as I played first time around so i could well be in for a bit of a shock when i reach the later levels.
Ill be on rp time (after Heroes )...
BTW I ordered SOCOM for the headset and now found out its not out in the UK until next year

Don't mean to blow my own trumpet but reached level 30 in spec ops now. Which means no more XP from my games whilst playing that class. Slightly bummed as it means my overall titular rank won't get any increases either. Will I ever get to Lieutenant, I wonder?

I was under the impression you still got XP towards your overall rank even at level 30? Ive seen plenty of people that have those helmet things you can only get at 30 who still get plenty of XP in the scoreboard, i imagine that'll still get applied to your stats.
[EDIT] In fact i'm 99% certain that XP rewarded to that class will still apply to your overall rank, it would be stupid to not do otherwise as everyone would just stop playing as certain classes once they've maxed it out. Not only will this result in people being less flexible with their classes but would also very quickly reduce their playerbase as everyone maxed out.
[EDIT2] Oh and, what would be the point in rewarding you the helmet at level 30 if that class became effectively useless towards your own advancement as soon as you got it.

Streeteh - you are probably right. I just assumed that as you don't get the "level up bar" at the end of a game, it wasn't counting any XP. Going from the last few posts about online XP recoding, it may not be added to your overall XP in the online profile straight away. I will just go and jot it down now and play a few more games as spec-ops and see if it is recorded on the Insomniac server. You've cheered me up again!
EDIT: Yes, you're definitely right. My cumulative XP is still increasing. Yippee. I'm like a pig in mud again.
