Does anyone know how to resolve this issue. When i turn on my new comp it loads to desktop in 1024 x ??? resolution but it's set at 1360 x ???. But when i reboot it again it goes to the resolution i set it at. Also the graphics card fan goes really loud then silent then loud. Any ideas?

I have done that i have all the update to date drivers. I received the pc last week, that was the first thing which was done.

Ye i know but i wanted to see if there was an option to stop it. As when i reboot straight after it stops. Seems odd to me
Hmm i must say i haven't tried changing the resolution to 1920 x 1200 only because beyond 1360 .... the icon's on the desktop just become exceedingly small.
