Hello there,

I'm new here and was wondering if someone could help me with a few questions. I have a 19" 1366 by 768 LCD TV and am getting a gaming build to play on this TV.

Should I spend most of my budget on the gaming build and play with this LCD TV for now? So buy a new 1080p TV in the near future...

or

Should I spend my budget on a new 1080p TV where the rest of the budget will be my gaming build?

I am currently spending £600 on a gaming build. Any help would be greatly appreciated. :) Thanks.

If gaming is the primary use, then I would spend the £600 on the PC and buy a decent monitor when you have the cash.

Are you going to be building your self? If so, do want help as to what to buy?

Hello there, I am building my gaming PC. I do have a list of components and I was wondering if you wouldn't mind having a look. :) Even though I think its overkill I think I should stick with the components to enable me to play on 1080 when I get a new monitor.

Component list:-

Am I allowed to upload products from other online tech shops? I'm assuming i'm not atm. :L

I am happy to look at your current spec and give you advice on what you should change.

At £600 for a gaming build then unless you are playing old games, you couldn't have gone OTT that much.

No you cannot show items from other stores. OcUK however, have excellent feedback and great customer service. Most things are cheaper here than anywhere else as well.

How is this linking to competitors or even mentioning them?

He hasn't even said where he is buying from??

He posted a screenshot of his basket off of a competitor site. This also included the URL. The rules are very strict on this as I am sure you are aware. He has since edited it out as I suggested.

I've edited that post out now, did not see the post before he edited it.

Is this all I need for my build? I'm also thinkin about increasing the RAM to 6GB as I can push to £650 if I buy a keyboard and mouse as well. Any help please? :) I don't need to buy speakers as my monitor has built in ones?
