Resolution problem when playing games

As title say's I have a small problem when playing games.

I have two monitors

Main monitor 24" WS (1920x1200)
2nd monitors 17" NS (1024x768)

Now whenever I play a game on full screen it moves my icons and any open windows on the 2nd monitor to the right.

I use Ultramon as well.

Any idea's?

You playing in the native resolution when gaming?

That's the onl time I ge it.

Playng the games at the default when installed.

Change the games resolution to whatever your desktop is at and you shouldn't have a problem with most games.

Monitor is at 1920 x 1200 native, but the games I think are at a lower res. Will try to adjust games to higher res. Cheers

Right, set game to 1920 x 1200 but the game is now a bit jerky when palying

PC spec is

Mobo - ASUS P5KPL/1600
CPU - Intel 5200 Core Duo No OC Running @ 2.50 GHz
RAM - 4 GB (2 x 2GB Geil 800)
GFX - 9500GT 514 MB SUPER PCI-E2 HDMI
OS - Vista 64 Ultiamte SP1

may need slighty beefer GPU or turn down AA extra eyecandy

Confused I am ?

It's a new build only 4 weeks old so dont want to spen any more cash on things not budgeted for. Can I take it then if I have my second monitor at 1920 x 1200 then I wont have this problem ?

No, he's just saying turn down some of your graphics in Fear 2. Things like AA and AF.

I'm begging to sound like a real noob - I dont have a clue what AA andf AF are?

AA = Anti-Alias
AF = Anisotropic Filtering

They usually show up in settings as " x4 or x8 " etc...

Also look out for things like texture detail/etc.
