Resolutions

I have a samsung monitor that is a couple of years old now,the resolution is 2048x1152. Now to my knowlege thats better than HD? So when i browse ocuk's products why do I mainly only see monitors with HD res? What am i missing?

Nothing, it just appears the market is swamped by a sea of practically identical monitors which only differ in design and back lighting choice.

I hate 1080p as a monitor resolution personally because of the poor vertical resolution. Stick with you 1152p screen! My next one will be a Dell 1920x1200.
