Responce time

Is an 8ms responce time on a tft ok for gaming and watching dvds?

Yes - 8ms and below is pretty good for gaming movies etc . You shouldnt get any ghosting

8ms is ideal, but watch for overdrive LCd screens, not so good with movies etc.

I've got an 8ms vp930 1000:1 contrast & its great in everything as the blacks/contrast is sooo good, never notice ghosting.
I've seen other lower contrast LCDs with a lower 4ms & they dont look good.
