Rest days and Swelling

Hey Guys,

I normally work out quite intensely for swimming and cycling training, 4days on 2 days off, where on the 2 days off I do zero activity except for a long 2 hour walk with the dog or something just to keep me moving.

Now everything is fine while im working out etc, can see abs etc all fine, however once I have 1 day off I go to bed normal, but wake up the second morning swollen all over, almost like water retention all over, in my face, ankles, abs disappear, just all over etc etc.

This will then subside once im back into exercise over the next 2 days, just wondered does anyone else have this or know a reason?

Guys any responce on this? would be interested to know if anyone else has this?

Had Sunday and Today off and exact same thing again.... drives me nuts lol 30" jeans not a chance today, 32 snugly lol.

Im normally always a 30"
 
This does not sound healthy, surely water retention should not be anywhere near enough to A) affect your whole body B) be enough to loose muscle definition to this scale... im no doctor but it that cant be right!
 
Nope diet doesnt change still get the same food really, keep eating a lot to be honest as I feel its the only time for my body to repair.
 
Lol not that much I would say, just a normal training days worth of food. However even still if I was going out and eating 5 dominoes etc, it shouldnt have overnight like that should it?

Feels like ive gained half a stone over night!
 
Normally anything I want to be honest lol, I do so much training normally has no effect. However yesterday Was Hot Cross Bun, then 3 Chicken Breasts with some salad, then at night I have 2 Chicken Breasts in a mushroom sauce with 2 pancakes and veg, small pot of ice cream for dessert.
 
Ok ill give that a go next week thanks!.

Ill be fine again by Wednesday, just tomorrow in the pool i feel like a beach whale!! Everything wobbles but by Wednesday im all back to normal practically.
