Hi. The other day I installed Ubuntu on another Partition with Vista, I decided (the day after lol) that I didn't want Ubuntu and was just going to go back to Vista. I booted Vista as normal and formatted the Ubuntu partitions (silly me) and then extended Vista's partition to use the free space left after the format.
OK so far so good, I carried on as normal, working away, downloading, etc, etc, then I had to reboot (installed something) and then when the computer started to start up again I got this:
Loading GRUB, Please wait...
ERROR 22
Basically I want to know how to fix Vista's boot loader so GRUB won't try and load and it will just boot straight to vista.
I do not wan't to lose anything though and I think formatting would be a last resort, I have backed up some little files last night (using cmd and notepad lol).
If the fixmbr and fixboot commands work with Vista then that should fix it yes?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thx
