Retail E6700 ????

You get them eles where you know and chaper than OCUK to every post that Gibbo put up about being the 1st place and cheapest it's not really!! It;s the most expensive!

I'm done with my E6700 ES now!! Bigger toy to play with heheh

Have they been available???

So far I've not seen Retail 6700 anywhere in the UK (and boy i've been looking hard) but the OEM 6700 have been around for a while now

Well made a decision !!!!

I'll give it to the end of this week and then I'll cancel my order.

Better the £500+ sitting in my acounts than OcUK's.

It would nice to hear something

First retail sighting

Well i've just seen the first sighting of the retail 6700 on a competitors website. (Not in the UK though)

So perhaps they are final finding the way into the channel

I want to order mine this saturday with another £600 worth of stuff but they are not available.

I just ordered mine today as i see theres a lot of ppl pre-ordered lol :D

New system will look like this.

Intel Core 2 DUO E6700 "LGA775 Conroe" 2.67GHz (1066FSB)
MSI 975X Platinum PowerUP Edition (Socket 775) PCI-Express
G.Skill 2GB DDR2 LA PC2-5400 (2x1GB) CAS4 Dual Channel Kit
ATI X1900XT-X 512MB
ATI X1900CF EDITION 512MB
FSU 700W PSU

The waiting will be unbareable :D

PS: Anyone using this MSI board and had any problems with conroe?

Is it me but i can see Intel Core 2 DUO E6700 "LGA775 Conroe" 2.67GHz (1066FSB) - OEM in stock now, although its beyond me why anyone would want to pay the extra £130 when you can get the E6600 which is only 267mhz down and could easily clock too that.

well the thing for me is i dont have any knownledge on how to overclock and tbh would never want to.

Im changing over from a AMD64 4000+ 2.4 so you think ill notice a big difference with this new cpu?

I just feel dont like the idea of overclocking me stuff, after spending so much on my system i wouldnt want to risk damaging any of it :D.

Im going to build a seperate system with my old amd64 stuff and maybe have a go overclocking that and see how i get one :)
