I ordered a SLI bridge for my 3090's but the retailer sent the wrong item.

They issued an RMA and gave me a returns label and I returned it immediately. They received the item over 4 weeks ago with proof of receipt but keep saying please wait for it to be processed to issue my refund.

This is really starting to annoy me now as they have taken ~£100 and in return sent the wrong item. They can't even give me an ETA for a refund, just "please bear with us". I raised a PayPal dispute but apparently sending the wrong item isn't something they can refund me for now and I will need to wait for the retailer.

What's the best way to deal with this waiting over a month once they have received the item for a refund is disgusting?

If you used a credit or debit card to fund the Paypal transaction then raise a claim through your card provider.
You can but there's no guarantee they will do anything. Me and the misses are owed £3,500 from cancelled flights in march/ april. airlines not paying up and Lloyds refuse to do anything.

I'm amazed SLI still exists I thought everyone had cottoned on it was useless.

I would ring their customer service number and speak with the manager or supervisor at least and get them to escalate it. I'd also call them back the following day and every day until it was sorted.

PayPal should have stepped in as the item is not as described. You have sent back the products already so I would probably go to my bank/CC now with the tracking number etc in hand.

Isn't it nvlink now (possibly renamed for the bad press, although I think it has entirely been dropped). Never got decent support imo, probably too worried people would buy 2 cheaper cards that would be faster than a 2080ti:p.
