retrieving number

i put the name and number of a contact into my phone earlier, but was called away so i just locked it and stuffed it in my pocket, and it seems i cant find the number at all has it gone or is hidden in the depths of my phone somewhere?



edit - might help if i said what phone it was w900i on vodafone

Ask the person for the number again? That's the most foolproof way of finding it, I'd say
