Thinking about fitting something like nine of these http://www.screwfix.com/prods/19077...-GU10-Polished-Chrome-Mains-Voltage-Downlight

using low energy bulbs.

Just lookng for advice on wiring etc What needs to be done etc.

At a push we do have access from above but prefered would be attacking the ceiling.

There would be loft/floor insulation is that something to take into account?

Just wondering if it would be feasable.

If you find any decent low energy bulbs to fit them that don't cost a fortune let me know as I have n't managed to locate any yet.

your not meant to have insulation on top of these lights, also for regs u need to use fire rated ones if someone is living above, ie a bedroom.

no one is living above, it's just the attic which is floored then floor is full of stuff.

well being low energy they wont give off as much heat as a 50w halogen but they will get hotter than designed to. dont expect them to live for 20k hrs or whatever they state.

Not expecting them to live that long.
Currently seem to replace current bulbs yearly or something, and that's a 3 pin spot light.

So how would I go about installing them, or what would I need? Guessing extra cabling, one of those cable devider thingies (sorry no idea what it's called, helped my dad before, it's circular in shape and helps with wiring one light off the cabling of an other)
