Does anyone know how to add additional filters to Retroarch? I'm using Scanline2x.filt and whilst it looks great in some games it looks terrible in others. A good scanline or CRT filter would be great. Im tring to get this working but it's not appearing 'crt-geom-deluxe (BGFX)'

A video filter would be ideal as is used accross all systems and I find 'tinkering' too much with settings distracts from playing

The only built in ones I have are ones such as blargg, dot matrix gameboy specific and upscaling

Thanks

Doesnt matter, I the built in updater and found crt-geom-deluxe and crt-royale in the filters which can be set globally. Also some scanline filters
A good comparison video here

Well, for anyone wanting to know I tried the CRT Geom, CRT Royale and some Mega Bezels and different combinations. It's fantastic what can be done but I also feel and can distrct from the game you're playing a bit and running 40 off shaders does take its toll on 3D games!
The main point though the distraction from the gaming - They look fantastic with reflections and the like but I seem to have found a nice simple shader that's looks almost as good as the 'mega/royale' presents whilst still being 1 basic shader with a few options.

Its called 'crt-pi.slang' located in shaders > crt. I then set shader parameters to disable screen curvature (0.00 on both)

Photos dont do it much justice, but here's one anyway. Subtle without being distracting
