I took back Burnout to Game last Saturday under their 10 day guarantee and swapped it for Oblivion. Will I be able to take Obivion back on Friday and swap it for Far Cry under the same 10 day guarantee or can you only doit once? Thanks.

when i took PGR3 back cos it got scratched up by my 360 and swapped it for NFS:MW, then decided i didnt liek that and wanted PGR3 back, they were a bit touchy about it.

after i took PGR3 back the first time they actually wrote on my reciept "no more returns" but i took NFS:MW back to a diff game store here in notts lol :)

Yes.

they aint, blockbuster video for pete sake!
(yes you should still be able to return it, BTW that was just biterness because I used to work there) ;)

My advice - always pay cash for a game and always return it for cash.
Then 10 minutes later change your mind and "rent" a different one.
Don't do a swap for a swap as some branches get the hump over it.

Thanks for the response guys. Defo gonna take Oblivion back on Friday for Far Cry. Just cant get into it at all. I need to shoot things :)

does the 10day return guarantee re start when you return a game for another game then? or does it only stand from the first game you purchased from game?

err....how many games :p

I remember using game as a hire shop :D thats when they did the 10 day refund ..... oh the good old days :)

They still do that though.
I prefer to keep it simple and clean and refund each game directly.
If I want antoher game instead I tend to deal with that as a seperate transaction, keep things tidier and hassle free.

Yes the 10 day return is only on consoles. Not sure why to be honest, I can't see any medium being any more secure than another.

Do they sell all the returns as pre-owned then? My game hardly has any pre-owned 360 games.

Nope but I have never bought a game from Game that wasn't already opened.
The discs/instructions are all in the drawers whilst the cases are on display.
So how would you know?

the 10 day return service is open to abuse,i worked at game 2 years ago, if a customer brought back a game 3 times that was it. also i'd tell them where the local blockbusters was
i detested customers after that
