After 7 years off most of which I have been playing console games and WoW I have decided I miss counterstrike.

nothing beats it for simplicity and yet it's a high skill adictive game.

So I installed source yesturday and started playing again.

only problem I have is I went to Enemy down which used to be from memory the main league and ladder for uk clans. But now it has all changed

Is there a better site for counterstrike uk leagues .. oh and also can anyone recommend some decent uk based servers that are consistently full and range most maps
 
haha, ED, worlds easiest league, where all the noob clans went to feel good about themselves :)

I've been out of the community for awhile, so not sure what's the current "decent" league, especially for source, never played that competitively.
 
CSS not that busy anymore. Most people moved on now.

However my clan still has a 20 man server and are active in competition. ED is a dead league now. They've just gone back to ESL i think

Our 20 man public css is called:

The Fallen Unit | =TFU= | UK | 100tick | HLstats (i think)

Do the weekly OcUK CSS matches still happen? Those are always a bit of fun :)

like I said some of the best gaming I ever did was my CS1.6 clan matches ... nothing else has ever come close for me.

will do, I have to be honest I was very rusty yesturday but started to get my aim back a bit after 3 or 4 hours. Even so It maybe a few weeks before I can play at a decent clan level level again.

I'll head onto your server tonight and play for a few hours

Yeah go for it mate, we used to be very very busy css wise. However since MW2 and BC2 a lot of people have just switched and left CSS. However we do occasionally have a fairly full server during peek gaming times.

Our ventrillo and BC2 servers are always bonkers tho haha!
