Returned email ?

I sent someone a reply to an ad and the mail came back. The email i sent it to was @btinternet.com and i use OE. The emailer of the message was [email protected]. Anyone know why yahoo got involved, and what 'out of sync ' means ?

They may have had a forward setup or something to/from yahoo.

Not sure what out of sync means but there's nothing you can do about it, problem at recipients end.
 
From what I understand, the Yahoo bit is related to BT having partnered with Yahoo for news and mail and some other stuff, from when BT Internet/Broadband/Openworld rebranded to BT Yahoo. All my BT emails come through a Yahoo gateway.

Ahh yeah sounds about right actually.
 
Tried again, but got the same message. I think the seller is going to wonder why they got zero responses
