Hi guys, very sorry to post this in the hard disk forum, but not sure exactly how to return my DOA Patriot SSD.

I bought 2 x 32GB Patriot PS-100, one works brilliantly, the other is not even seen in my BIOS (tried using same cables / port etc, deffo DOA).

I want to return it and get another, but not sure if I should return it to OCUK , or directly via the manufacturer. Does anyone know the process ? I ordered Thursday and they arrived Friday 19th feb 2010 (yesterday).

Thanks in advance!

Request an RMA from OCUK and send it back to them, they will then contact Patriot and get it replaced, as they will have a better success rate with the manufacturer than the little guy so to speak

AFAIK overclockers should replace it without sending it back to Patriot as its within 14 days cooling off period for mail order products. If its going to delay things for more than a couple of days then RMA it as unwanted as this is also covered under the 14 days and re-order another one.

The DSR is 7 working days, plus returning a duff product as unwanted could see you still being charged for it as it's not fit for resale.
