Thought my motherboard was faulty so, bought a new one from a competitor. Anyone found out the problem was with my SSD drive not the motherboard.

Can I return it under DSR? Have only removed the motherboard from box, all accessories untouched? Or is this naughty?

Thanks :)

If it was delivered not more than seven working days ago, yes, you can return it under the DSRs.

You may have to pay the return carriage costs though (not the original cost of shipping the item to you, which is refundable), check the supplier's T&Cs.

You are not even obligated to return the accessories, OcUK probably gets loads of DSR items with missing parts which end up in B-Grade section.

It's polite to return everything though :-p

That's true, but do bear in mind though that you have a duty to take "reasonable care" of the item you want to return - if an item is returned without the accessories it came with you may be deemed to have failed in that responsibility, and the supplier may have grounds for action against you.

In most cases any missing accessories would probably be overlooked unless they were vital to the functioning of the equipment, but the possibility is there, and in any case as you said it's only good manners to return the item in as near-new condition as possible. :)

I'm sending a headset back that has just been out of the box and looked & put away again. I've tried my best to put it back teh way I found it so I would say if it looks teh same then you should have no issues. Mine is going back to ocuk on dsr so I hope its ok :D
