I have had a break from PC games for a few years and am a bit out of touch with current games. Would anyone please be able to recommend a few of the currently regarded leaders in the adventure/role playing genre (single player, rather than multi player).
In the past I used to like the Monkey Island and Indiana Jones series of games and there was also a series called Myst... if I remember correctly.
I had a brief look at the latest Monkey Island games and have to admit I was not that keen. With monitors and graphics what they are nowadays modern equivalent of the "Myst.." series might be good as the originals were very good for graphics at the time. However, all suggestions most appreciated.
